Overhead Electrification

Railway Overhead Electrification (OHE) structures refer to the system of poles, wires, and associated components that deliver electrical power to trains operating on electrified railway tracks. These structures are critical for enabling the transition from diesel-powered locomotives to cleaner, more energy-efficient electric trains.

The overhead wires-connected to a centralized power supply-run parallel to the tracks and supply electricity to the trains via a pantograph system. Strategically positioned poles support these wires, maintaining the necessary tension and alignment for uninterrupted power transmission.

By eliminating the need for diesel engines, OHE systems significantly reduce environmental impact and contribute to the modernization of rail infrastructure. They play a vital role in enhancing operational efficiency, reducing maintenance costs, and supporting sustainable transportation goals.

OHE & PSI Works With Various Clients

We had Successfully Completed around 200 TKM 25 KV Railway Electrification works (OHE) along with 8 SSP's and Bay Extension in Existing TSS in the Last 14 Years. Now Currently Executing around 160 TKM OHE and SSP, SP, TSS Works including EPC 2 x 25 KV OHE & PSI Works With Various Clients.
